Customer satisfaction testimonials

GSS Marine Services places a great deal of importance on fully meeting – and, where possible, exceeding our clients’ expectations. Customer satisfaction is everything, and, as these testimonial examples show, the quality of our coastal and offshore marine services is highly thought of in the industry.

GSS has worked with us since 2010 on all together 5 offshore wind farm construction projects. GSS has a strong team of dedicated specialists with capable vessels in the field of marine services. Their flexibility, professionalism and ‘can do’ attitude has attributed to overcome challenges and setting new standards in optimized installation cycles.

I have worked with GSS on two projects at Grangemouth both involving diving and working in very hazardous areas.

Initial planning meetings required numerous actions to ensure the safety of workmen, the integrity of the work being undertaken and the need to ensure shipping operations continued unimpeded. Grangemouth is Scotland's busiest commercial port and careful co-ordination was required to ensure the port continued to function with minimal or no disruption.

Effective pre-planning and good clear communication is essential to ensure the utmost safety, especially in the environment GSS were operating. GSS complied with the requirements as agreed and the work was completed to the satisfaction of myself.

I would happily work with GSS again in the future.

Sincerely.

Captain Mike Magee, Harbour Master Forth Outer Leith Harbour Office, Port of Leith Edinburgh

QinetiQ

GSS Marine Services has been QinetiQ of Loch Goil’s main maritime and support contractor for more than 10 years. Over this time they have completed many varied projects. One of these was a contract where we had to enlarge a splash area for deploying mooring buoys. This involved the considerable movement and repositioning of bottom material (mostly large stone and gravel), making good the associated exposed walls and protecting the whole area with ‘gabion’ baskets. Throughout this task tides, tide heights and the effect of the weather had to be carefully considered, not only from a practical point of view but with safety in mind. The whole job was completed on time, on budget and without injury. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for this type of task.
